Motion and Wide Aperture Images

Motion

Machinery whirring round; racing cars flashing past; athletes reaching for the finishing line; swirling water; trees bending in the wind. Do you want blur with the subject or will you pan with the subject to get a blurry background? Over to you. What’s your take?

Wide Aperture |mages

We’re looking for some images where there is a strong ‘in focus' subject isolated from an ‘out of focus’ background or foreground. With a very good lens you will be able to show a soft bokeh where circles of light appear like bubbles. On the other hand, there are plenty of software programmes, including on smartphones, that will do the job.
