Macro
Close-up photography. The subject doesn’t have to be rendered at 1:1 ratio so we’re not asking you to buy an expensive lens for this task but if you have one, we might see something spectacular.
Composition - Negative Space
What’s this? It’s when there is a load of seemingly empty or insignificant space in a photograph which serves to isolate or give impact to the subject. The negative space of an image is anything other than the subject. It could consist of water, sky, sand, fields, walls etc. It’s the foreground, the background and the visual “breathing room” all around the scene.
