Starting in Clumber Park Andrew led a 6mile walk through the park including Engine Hill and Elizabeth's Piece near Apleyhead, a stand of trees planted commemorate the coronation of the Queen Elizaeth 2nd

September 8th
This week Catherine took us from the Carrs at Church Warsop into Sherwood Forest. A varied walk comprising urban walking with fields, forest and a pig farm. Fortunately the wind was kind to us.

September 15th
A little of off normal patch we started at Scaftworth Village near Bawtry. Vickie took us over the Barrow Hills to Harwell and Everton.

September 22nd
Janets wildlife safari took us past Gorillas and (real) Alpacas. We started on the Old Gateford road and walked towards Wallingwells where we encountered the gorilla followed by the Alpacas at Woodsetts.
We then carried on alongside the golf course past some very grand houses where one had a missile in the garden. Normal for Woodsetts!
After crossing the golf course and the A57 we returned via Shireoaks. Just over 6 miles
September 29th
A beautiful day greeted us as we left the Lock Keeper to walk down the canal to Shireoaks Hall. Pauline then took us to Netherthorpe and back to the canal at Turnerwood. Sadly the small café was closed until next year.
