Twelve members from the Highly Strung Ukulele Group entertained an audience at the Dinnington Methodist Church Hall during April.
The church approached the band and to ask them to help by performing a concert to raise money for their church funds The audience enjoyed the performance and joined in songs from the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s with enthusiasm.
A delicious afternoon tea was served at ‘half time’, after which the playing and singing continued.
It was a fun afternoon, Highly Strung played well and everyone had an enjoyable time - group members and audience
alike.
