We started on the summer of 2020 and being outdoors it was ideal activity as Covid 19 restriction began to be lifted.
The sessions are held on the pistes at the top of the North Notts Arena car park. This is courtesy of the Arena Pétanque Club
We have spare boule available to borrow and can get any complete novices playing in no time.

Summer Competitions - 2026
In addition to the regular weekly sessions the Pétanque group is running a series of summer competitions. These will take place the fourth Thursday afternoon of each month - see dates below.
Each competition will comprise a series of timed games. It will give members the opportunity to gain experience by playing under competition rules.
We also hope to enter an inter Notts u3a competition this year too.
