Accessibility
The u3a does not and cannot provide personal support/carers to members. Therefore it is important that members who do not have such support, consider carefully whether they can manage any trip or activity independently.
Please note that the Hall decorations are spread over 3 floors and unfortunately there is no lift or stair lift available. There are 64 shallow and wide stairs, with landings to rest on. There are 2 rooms to explore on the ground floor. 'Walkers' are unable to be taken upstairs and we kindly ask that electric scooters are left outside. We are only able to welcome manual wheelchairs inside the Hall to explore the ground floor. For those who are unable to access the stairs, we offer an Access Talk with a dedicated guide in a ground floor room. This is a talk on the upper floors, with prop decorations, slideshow and close up photos, meaning those who are unable to make the stairs can still experience the rooms above, in an open discussion, and enjoy the full splendour of the Hall.

Proposed Agenda
The coach will leave the Lock Keepers car park at 9.30am (please be at the car park no later than 9.20am), with a further pickup point at the Cannon at 9.40am.
We should arrive at Doddington. (approx 10.30am) giving us plenty of time to visit the coffee shops prior to our first entry into the Hall at 11.45am (Up to 30 people) and a second entry 15 minutes later at 12.00pm for the remainder of our group. There are several shops to visit including the farm shop.
Our Christmas raffle will be drawn at 3.45pm (back at the coach). We will depart from Doddington at 4.00pm and hope to arrive back in Worksop around 5.00pm.
