Submitting Your Photographs

Submitting Images

We use Dropdox to submit our images and a new link is sent out each month

Naming and resizing Images

There is no need to resize your image except it will make the upload quicker. If you are going to resize I suggest you resize to no smaller the 2000 pixels on the long edge. If you resize to 2000 pixels the image won't be enlarged over 100% when it's displayed.

When you rename the files to send can you make sure you start the file name with your name as that will keep your images together when they are displayed. If you wish for them to be displayed in a particular order follow your name with 1, 2, 3, or a, b, c. And if you want to add a title or the theme put that the end. Make sure the before and after images are clearly labelled after your name.

Uploading for Laptop/ Desktop Users

A new Dropbox link will be sent each month for you to submit your images. Click on the link and it will open Dropbox in your browser. There are two ways to upload the images. You can either drag and drop or select files to upload.

• If you open the folder on your computer where the images are, you can drag them in to the space indicated.

• Alternatively click on the ADD FILES button and select Files from your computer. This will open your folders on your computers so you can find the file to upload. Double clicking will add the photo. Click on Add more files to repeat the process

• Add your name and email address and select the Upload Button.

Uploading for iPad Users

If you have used an iPad to taken the image you can still upload directly from the iPad

• Open the Drop box link email

• Tap Add Files

• Tap Photo library and tap the appropriate option to find your images

• You can select multiple images then tap Done (RHS above the photos)

• Add your name and email address then tap Upload

When you have clicked the Upload button, the upload process will begin and this may take a some time depending on the file sizes and your broadband connection. It will tell you when it has been successful. I will get an email to notify me and you should get an email confirmation too.
